1. E1. Episode 1

   Being regarded as the “Cake Lord”, KO KAN indulges in his work all the time. His wife LAY is dissatisfied and runs away with their son KO BUN. In order to stop them at the airport, KAN claims that he has got a bomb. He is sent to jail eventually. After broken up with her boyfriend, TONG SHEUNG sets up a little cake shop regardless of her father TONG SUM’s objection. KAN misses his son. He therefore uses the nickname of “Cake Robin Hood” to cheer up single parent children by sending them beautiful cakes. KAN goes to SUM’s laundry shop, Sum Kee, to pick up BUN’s pirate ship toy. The shopkeeper, MO SZ, refuses to return the toy to him because he is late. SHEUNG is surprised to receive a cake from the “Cake Robin Hood”. SHEUNG’s cake shop, “Dream Workshop”, is opened. Her younger brother, TONG CHIM, and cousin, TAU HO HO, come to the opening celebration. SA PA YUNG, the owner of a chain cake shop, Gateux, invites KAN to join them.… ...

   KAN’s hands have a lower temperature than average, which is ideal for making chocolate decorations. KAN wins the contest with a “Black Forrest Pirate Ship Cake”. SHEUNG comes out suddenly and blames KAN for copying somebody else’s work. YUNG’s unruly daughter, SA LAI, introduces KAN to their experienced chef, CHEUNG TAN FAT. FAT learns that KAN is not easy to get along with and he asks his subordinates to put him on their guard. YUNG asks KAN to manage the kitchen and LAI is dissatisfied. KAN met a teddy boy, whose name is SUEN YU LOK, when he was in the prison. KAN helps LOK to take care of his street stall. SHEUNG reports this to the Public Health Inspectors and KAN is arrested. “Dream Workshop” is on fire and SHEUNG is very sad. KAN suggests giving trainings to new apprentices so as to improve their standard. LAI objects while YUNG appreciates the idea. SHEUNG finds that KAN is nearby when “Dream Workshop” was on fire.… ...

3. E3. Episode 3

   SHEUNG, LOK and PO LONG are chosen to be the new cake trainees. SUM wishes that SHEUNG could continue his business but SHEUNG declares that her interest is on cake making. SUM is upset. KAN gives LOK the opportunity to be a cake trainee because LOK has once saved his life. SHEUNG feels exhausted after the first working day. CHIM asks her to give up but she is determined to take revenge. SZ tyrannizes in the laundry shop as if she was the boss’ wife. SHEUNG is not happy about it. SUM lies to his children by saying that their mother TAM WUI HEUNG has died. The truth is that HEUNG has deserted her kids and husband to go abroad to learn cake making. After learning that SHEUNG has come to Gateux to take revenge, LAI tries to draw SHEUNG to her side to fight against KAN. SUM finds that FAT is afraid of staying close to the oven. FAT reveals that this is caused by an accident in the early days. LAI fights with KAN on behalf of FAT.… ...

4. E4. Episode 4

   KAN is unable to attend the press conference on time. FAT takes his place as the host. He performs badly during the event and feels very unhappy. KAN helps FAT to overcome his phobia on oven and FAT regains the title of the “King of Cake Crust”. KAN launches a new series of cakes featuring the ocean. Everybody appreciates his idea very much. A TV station has invited LAI’s cake shop to join their fund-raising event. LAI is happy for having the chance to gain popularity. KAN uses chocolate as the main ingredient to make some sculptures resembling ice sculptures for the fund-raising event. YUNG supports him. SHEUNG and CHIM have discovered that their mother is alive. They question SUM and the truth is finally revealed. HEUNG has lost her memory while studying abroad and her name has been changed to KUK KEI. She has returned to Hong Kong with her older sister KUK YIU.… ...

5. E5. Episode 5

   KAN restores the shape of the chocolate sculptures swiftly and everyone is amazed. SUM pretends to be ill and urges SHEUNG to help him in the laundry shop. SHEUNG reluctantly applies for annual leaves to help him. KEI enquires about KAN’s family background but he doesn’t answer her. KAN meets LAY on the street and she tries to embarrass him. KEI requests SHEUNG to collect clothes from her house and they quarrel with each other on the laundry charge. SHEUNG discovers that SUM is pretending to be sick and she feels upset. BUN gets lost on the street and comes to the cake shop where SHEUNG works. SHEUNG looks after him carefully. SHEUNG finds many photos of BUN in KAN’s office and realizes that BUN is KAN’s son. KAN is happy to meet BUN again and they share some happy moments together. SHEUNG learns from LOK that KAN is not involved in the fire and realizes then that she has blamed him wrongly.… ...

6. E6. Episode 6

   BUN’s asthma breaks out. KAN and LAY are worried. KAN wants to spend more time with BUN but LAY prevents him from seeing BUN. Her fiance, ROBERT, advises her to make peace with KAN instead. KAN thinks that KEI is treating BUN badly. He realizes later that this is only a misunderstanding. KAN asks SHEUNG to teach him how to play children arcade game; she teaches him attentively. LAI asks KAN to compete with the “Cheese Cake Queen”, CHI CHING SEI LEUNG, in the coming international contest. KAN refuses since he needs to take care of his son. KEI hurts herself in a yoga class. The yoga instructor, CHIM, accompanies her to see the doctor. KEI, who is a mean person, requests CHIM to pay for her medical fees. SHEUNG meets KEI and the two quarrels with each other again over trivial matters. YUNG’s cake shops are having satisfactory returns after hiring KAN. He thus grants long holidays to KAN as an incentive. KAN meets LEUNG by chance.… ...
