Almost Adults

The four heroes' base is an old duplex with a garden and a terrace in the city. In the post-lifestyle era, in the neighborhood with souvlaki shops, post-modern grocery stores and all-day cafés, they are looking for something from the old world that they already know well, having survived the Greek crisis, the memoranda, the anti-smoking law, unemployment, coronavirus and quarantine. The Greek's emotionality clashes with the European model of life with protagonists "Almost Adults" who try to enjoy their everyday life. The bet: will it be easy for them to stand up to whatever incredible things happen to them from now on?

   Experiencing the new reality of 2020, Thomas was fired from an advertising agency, but the bills kept running. So he got a job with an old client of his, who is now the boss. Apostolis opens up businesses with tassels... which he has to hide, so that Daphne doesn't find them, who will dig up the garage, because she is divorcing Alexis, but in the end Stella, his wife, is behind him. Nicole is preparing for Germany where she will finally live in the same city and house, with her partner. However, a visit to the bank changes priorities.

Alexis, after setbacks and unorthodox methods, learns about Daphne's new relationship, Christos, Thomas's employer. Thomas's house is broken into. A few days later, two police officers with an arrest warrant are looking for Nicole, who, with everyone's help, escapes. Anastasia discovers other deceptions by Demosthenes and together with Nicole they search for evidence in Athens and Thessaloniki, about the case and his life. All this without knowing that someone is watching them.

   The life of almost adults never calms down! After Demosthenes' phone call, the two friends return to Athens. Alexis takes his things from Daphne's house, but he will soon discover that moving will not be the only change. Thomas tries to set his limits, but continues to take care of everyone as always, even now that he is in danger of losing his job. Despite the special circumstances, he will accept to help Apostolis, who, despite his promise, does not "get" him to throw away any opportunity. All this, while Nicole is looking for a solution to her problems, in forgotten objects and through the legal guidance of Stella's father. A completely random meeting, makes the situation more serious.

The debts do not decrease, especially after Stella takes care of her husband's professional activities herself as her dad does not make the situation easier. Thomas and Elena speak for the first time after their failed date and open up to each other. In the meantime, Nicole and Alexis go up to Thessaloniki together to gather evidence for the upcoming trial. There they find the shop under seizure, a fact that does not prevent them from entering and searching. Nicole, after a meeting with Mihos and a series of other events, will reveal aspects of herself that are hidden even to her, which will justifiably make Alexis lose sleep.

   Alexis and Nicole return to Athens. Thomas, unaware of their involvement in the incidents, welcomes them to bring them the news about Demosthenes and the gang in a polite manner. Immediately afterwards, Nicole goes to the tax office where the news continues to be unpleasant. Elena and Thomas face the problems of everyday life together while Alexis and Metaxia also create something beautiful. For Elli, things are not calm and for Apostoli and Stella, debts, work and personal matters are no longer important. An accountant, however, will become a common priority for everyone.
