   After being pushed into a river by the hit-man out to get him, Black makes his way back to the Mahkota masquerade ball in search of his nemesis, 419. Sofia helps Lokman to identify a potential murderer, only to realise the culprit is a man from her past who is seeking justice for his son - a victim of the Seri Setia Mall collapse 20 years ago. The case is linked to Borhan’s investigations of a murder that happened two decades ago, while Black is certain it is connected to 419’s location.

   An explosive experience leaves Black bitter over human injustice, a sentiment which is incongruent to his nature and further complicated by his inability to escape Malik’s body. Black is drawn into an assault case lodged against Lokman. When Sofia realises that the case may involve the loss of innocent lives, Black once again finds himself fighting the good fight – out of compassion and his growing feelings for Sofia. Meanwhile Borhan discovers that his 20 year old case’s killer may still be at large and all clues point to Seri Setia.

   Black appears to be distracted from his mission to find 419, preferring to assist Sofia instead. To complicate matters, Aisya re-appears in his life - she didn’t have the heart to leave him and she would like to renew their relationship. On top of that 007 and 416 have not managed to find an explanation as to why Black cannot leave Malik’s body – an unprecedented anomaly. Black experiences dreams about Malik’s past and discovers a strange fact about his identity which he keeps a secret from Sofia.

Borhan’s investigation shocks Borhan when he discovers that the victim in his case is someone he once knew. Lokman is devastated when he sees the extent of his brother’s greed to take over Mahkota Insurance.

Meanwhile, using a file on her father’s case, Sofia tracks his suspected murderer, walking straight into a deadly situation. Aisya discovers that Black has kept an important truth from Sofia which threatens to jeopardise their relationship. Borhan follows a lead which takes him back to Seri Setia.

   Black faces his most daunting case as he experiences emotional turmoil for the very first time – the whole squad is out looking for Bagas, a.k.a Hook Scar man who has taken two people hostages, both of whom appear to be wounded. Borhan confronts Rahman about his links to insurance fraud linked to Hook Scar man. In the end, a tense stand off threatens to kill innocent lives.
