Han Liu Bang is a Chinese historical drama that depicts the life of Liu Bang, the first emperor of the Han Dynasty. It starts with his beginnings as a low-ranking pavilion chief, follows through the wars to overthrow the Qin Dynasty, the Chu-Han contention for supremacy with Xiang Yu, his rise to becoming the first emperor of the Han Dynasty, and his death in the twelfth year of his reign as Emperor Gaozu of Han.
