One day, Miu Takigawa suddenly receives a letter notifying her that she has been chosen as a member of a brand-new project. Half in disbelief, she heads over to the location stated on the letter. There, she finds seven other girls summoned there in the same fashion. The girls behold a giant, top-secret facility. They stand in bewilderment as they are told: "You are going to debut for a major record label as an idol group." A new kind of idol, never-before-seen, is about to be born here...

The letter says, “You will be joining an idol group and debuting on a major label.” A man named Aida takes them to a top-secret underground facility with a mysterious “wall.” Miu and the girls experience a whirlwind of light and darkness as they make their way to the stage…

    Two new plates have emerged from the Wall. The first is the name of Miu’s idol group, “22/7,” and the second instructs the staff to conduct a group evaluation. Amid the confusion, each member prepares for the assessment; however, Miu falls into despair as she is unable to imagine herself as an idol. With tensions running high, a panel of strict judges convenes to evaluate each girl. Nicole stands out above the rest with her excellent performance, but Miu is unable to even properly introduce herself…

    The Wall issues an order announcing that 22/7’s debut show will be on February 27th. Miu and the girls engage in grueling rehearsals every day to prepare for the show. Even though Miu was chosen as the center, she lags behind and slows down the progress of the group. What can Miu do as the center of 22/7? The day of the show arrives. What Miu sees from the stage is way beyond her expectations.

    After 22/7’s successful debut show, the Wall issues a new order: “Have a successful gravure photo shoot at the Hitome Senbonzakura cherry blossoms.” Gouda and the staff scramble to book a cover photo shoot with a magazine to fulfill the unreasonable request from the Wall; however, Sakura is overcome with emotion.

    The Wall issues a new order instructing the girls to perform at ITF (Idol Tokyo Festival), known as a stepping-stone to success for idols. This is the first festival appearance for 22/7, but after seeing other idol groups they realize that they lack cohesiveness.

    The Wall suddenly issues an order stating that, “The leader of the group is Reika Sato.” Having a strong sense of responsibility, Reika worries about her newly appointed position. The Wall issues another order instructing 22/7 to fly to Okinawa to shoot images for a photo book.
