Nawangsih

Nawangsih tells the story of Arya (Mario Lawalata) and his wife, Kiran (Ririn Ekawati) along with their two daughters Srimaya (Benaya Farah) and Nawangsih (Gisellma & Chrissie) who move to an old house belonging to Arya's late father. Everything seemed fine until one day there little Nawangsih found a very old lamp inherited from Arya's father. Since then, Nawangsih has an unusual relationship with the spirit that lives in the lamp.

Since moving to the house, Srimaya said that Nawangsih often had nightmares and woke up. And one day Kinar also found Nawangsih going down to the warehouse in the basement of their dark and dirty house making Kinar drive Nawangsih out of the warehouse. The next day when Nawangsih was tutoring with Donny, the private teacher who taught him, suddenly Nawangsih was seized like seeing something scary. Donny reported what happened to Nawangsih

   Donny came to teach Nawangsih. The antique lights next to Nawangsih caught Donny's attention. And when Arya told Donny that he hadn't been able to pay the tuition fee, Donny offered to sell the antique lamp. Although Kinar forbade Arya from selling the antique lights, Arya and Donny managed to bring the antique lamp to Donny's boarding house. The boarding house owner who has a relationship between the buyer of the antic goods, is very and sure to sell at a high price. Suddenly the electricity went out, but the antique lights even lit up.

   Kinar is disappointed with Arya's actions while selling the lights which makes Nawangsih very sad. Then, as seen Nawangsih walked towards the warehouse, Kinar followed. Kinar and Arya are very surprised, and makes Nawangsih even more angry at his father seeing Arya approaching the antique lamp. When Donny came to escort Srimaya and told of a strange incident in his boarding room, Arya was very surprised and told him that the antique lamp was in the warehouse of their house.

   Arya & Kinar are very confused when they find out Nawangsih disappeared. Kinar went quietly to look for Nawangsih. Arya, assisted by her house manager, Tumin, searched around their housing and did not find Nawangsih. Tumin took the initiative to ask Mpok Hindun for help, who was known as someone who had supernatural powers. While Arya was worried that there would be no news from Kinar, and waited for Kinar to come home, Arya found a letter with a worn-out kerta in the drawer of her desk which was the former work desk of her father.

At night Kinar could not sleep, and saw an envelope that turned out to be the letter Arya found in her desk drawer. Secretly Kinar read the letter and was very surprised when reading it, there was the name Nawangsih in the letter. That's when the room door slowly opened, making Kinar very scared.
