   KO MAN BILL and YU HON CHUEN are classmates in the police training academy. Their results are comparable. CHU1!:N breeds enmity against BILL and is eager to beat him.    CHUEN's father is a retired Inspector General. He has high expectations of his son and often uses his influence on his former colleagues to help CHUEN in his career. LAM SIU CHEUNG is working under CHUEN. Being efficient and capable, CHEUNG is soon promoted to be a sergeant. However, his relationship with the other team-mates is not that well and it is a great blow to his confidence. One day, he goes to enjoy himself and runs into TSANG YUEN SHAN. SHAH, being lovely and energetic, deeply attracts CHEUNG. A junior police officer CHI CHUI is greatly disturbed emotionally. He goes to seek help from BILL's wife CHING HOI KAR and right away falls in love for her. Later, CHUI discovers her relationship with BILL and stops courting her.

   In fact, SRAN is doing her undergraduate studies overseas. She hurries back to Hong Kong on hearing that her father is seriously taken ill. SHAN's father soon recovers but SHAN decides to stay behind in Hong Kong. CHUEN's father TIN has once helped SHAN's family greatly. Feeling deeply indebted to TIN, SHAN's father brings her to visit TIN who praises her highly of her airs and. potential. By chance, CHEUNG and SHAN enter the same competition and bath of them get good results. Meanwhile, their friendship also begins to grow. KWOK YAN MING is the only child in the family brought up by his widowed mother. He is reserved and seld.om mixes with the others. His neighbour and colleagues LAU MAN YIN is his best friend. MING's mother is working in the LO's family. The young mistress there WAI YEE finds MING a curious young man being so shy and reserved while MING is attracted by her open and carefree character.

   KAR feels delighted on hearing that her husband is recommended to be promoted. She urges BILL to prepare well for the assessment and this exerts great pressure on BILL. The gap between them gradually widens. YIN also gets psychologically disturbed and seeks help from KAR. Again YIN is attracted by KAR's beauty and airs. However, he keeps secret his affection for KAR. Only to his best friend MING does he reveal his inner feelings. LEUNG CHOI and SHIU LEUNG are working in the same team. Yet their wives often fallout with one another. Hence, while working, they too often tease each other. CHEUNG and SHAN grows deeper in love but SHAN's father is again taken ill seriously. SHAN feels much worried and disturbed.

   In the hospital SHAH is walking up and down feeling very worried. TIN and CHUEN comes to see her. It is the first time CHUEN meets SHAN but 'he is attracted to her and starts finding chances to get close to her. BILL is now following a difficult case. Feeling exhausted, he again has to face up to KAR's pressure on him urging to study hard for the promotion assessment. BILL cannot control his temper and the two has a fierce quarre1. YIN starts sending flowers to KAR to show his love for her. However , KM does not realize that YIN is attracted to her. YEE runs into trouble and seeks MING's help. MING feels elated thinking that YEE has some affections for him.

6. E6. Episode 6

   CHEUNG's performance is not that satisfactory since he cannot work harmoniously with his team-mates. CHUEN blames him for not doing well and CHEUNG then decides to devote much effort to cracking down cases in order to prove his efficiency. CHUEN often visits SHAN's father so as to get close to SHAN. TIN notices that and urges CHUEN to devote more time to his career Rather than wasting time on love affair, CHUEN does not take his words and the two fallout with each other. On the other hand, CHUEN's mother who has spoiled him since he is young, renders much support to him. Without realizing YIN's affections for her, KAR's words bring much encouragement to YIN whose love for her grows deeper and deeper.
