After a botched robbery at the Kurokawa Financial Company leaves security guard Satoru Aizawa (Nagase Tomoya) fatally wounded, a freak lightning strike pulls him back from the brink of death, leaving him with the unwanted ability to see the dead. While hunting for the truth behind the heist that claimed his best friend's life, he crosses paths with Toranosuke Kihara (Okada Junichi), a cynical freelance detective who shares his strange gift.
