   LO SO is a solicitor at Shing & Nam Solicitors. He wants to have a quiet Christmas at home but the noisy neighbors are forcing him to go out. His good friend and colleague, solicitor YU DOR-CHUN, calls him and asks him to borrow money for making credit card payment but LO SO rejects him. JAZZ NAM is one of the partners at Shing & Nam Solicitors and he used to be a singer long time ago. He calls LO SO and LO SO teases him. SING MING, the other partner of the firm, is married to KU KA-TING. They have got twin sons SHING FONG and SHING YI. The two sons are keeping SHING MING busy all the time. LO SO discovers an abandoned baby inside the shopping mall. The security guard misconceives that he has abandoned the baby and LO SO is sent to the police station. LO SO meets the KU KA-YING again at the police station since she is the lawyer of the woman who abandoned the baby. LO SO and KA-YING were against each other five years ago……

   Five years ago, KA-YING was still a trainee and she met the wealthy CHUNG TING-HANG while parking her car. TING-HANG is married but he reveals that it is only a political marriage and he doesn't love his wife at all. TING-HANG and KA-YING's relationship become the magazine cover story very soon. KA-TING blames KA-YING for being the other woman and KA-YING lies to her that she is dating with LO SO instead. TING-HANG proposes marriage to KA-YING. LO SO tells KA-YING that he is the witness of TING-HANG's divorce. LO SO accompanies KA-YING to Rome to wait for TING-HANG but he discovers the sweet photos of TING-HANG and his wife published on the magazine... During the meeting, DOR-CHUN requests to change the secretary but everybody believe that DOR-CHUN's wife CHUNG LAI-SA would not accept it. JAZZ's client Mrs HUNG wants to sue B A MAN fitness center……

   SIU-NA reveals that all colleagues refuse to join the Sedan Chair Race. SHING MING tries to seduce them with rewards. B A MAN refuses to accept JAZZ's proposed settlement agreement on behalf of Mrs HUNG and DOR-CHUN. DOR-CHUN reveals that he will sue B A MAN and JAZZ suggests carrying out investigation on the models in the promotional leaflets of their slimming programs. LAI-SA arrives with the model LEON and LEON reveals how the fitness center is cheating others. B A MAN finally agrees to make compensation. SIU-NA reveals once again that all colleagues prefer to have a one hundred dollar red pocket for New Year than to join the Sedan Chair Race. KA-YING follows KA-TING again and KA-TING discovers her. KA-TING recalls how KA-YING has gone to England years ago. LAI-SA follows DOR-CHUN and discovers that he is trying to please a lady at the car park. LAI-SA suddenly arrives at the law firm and reveals that she wants to work there...

4. E4. Episode 4

   LO SO is having a meeting with his client for a long time at the office. LAI-SA cannot bear it and she points out the client's key problem directly. Everybody is embarrassed. JAZZ plays guitar and sings at his home's balcony. His client as well as his fans FANNY suddenly arrives and asks him to compose a song for her 4th wedding ceremony. JAZZ reveals that he hasn't compose any songs for a long time. FANNY knows that JAZZ has stopped composing after being accused of copying others' songs long time ago. However, she knows that JAZZ still has strong interest in singing and she encourages him. In order to find inspiration for his song, JAZZ goes to do a lot of voluntary works and he joins the single-parent family counseling group as well. JAZZ tries to date YAU MAT but she gives him a lesson instead. SHING MING wants JAZZ to recommend a barrister……

5. E5. Episode 5

   The Games Company delivers 208 boxes of documents to the law firm on the day before going to court. SHING MING asks all colleagues to work overtime and read all the documents. LO SO goes to the flower shop to order red roses with a wedding ring. DOR-CHUN suddenly suffers from pneumothorax and LAI-SA sends him to the hospital immediately. JAZZ invites a Feng Shui master to practise geomancy at the company and they discover an important document of the case... JAZZ goes to drink at the pub. He meets YAT MAT there and he suddenly has inspiration for the song. LAW LAN and TING-HANG return to Hong Kong from England. LO SO discovers LAW LAN, TING-HANG and LAI-SA at the graveyard. He turns away immediately but TING-HANG discovers him. LAI-SA goes to a pub at the walled village and she discovers that DOR-CHUN is drunk already……

6. E6. Episode 6

   KA-YING asks LO SO to keep the secret of SHING FONG but LO SO reveals that he will fight for the right of TING-HANG. A client from Mainland China deposits 30 million dollars at the law firm. SHING MING tries to keep the money in the safe but KO KWAI sees the passwords accidentally. SHING MING visits LO SO at night. He reveals that he has asked private detective to check the whereabouts of KA-YING before. He asks LO SO to inform him before telling the secret to TING-HANG. New Year is coming and SHING MING successfully persuades KA-TING to allow KA-YING to join their New Year dinner. The 30 million dollars in the safe is gone. KO KWAI is injured and he claims that SHING MING has stolen the money. JAZZ reveals that if they could raise the money within 3 days, the problem will be solved. KA-TING blames JAZZ for not able to raise any money……
