The story revolves around Adriana, a woman from a small town who has suffered the consequences of distancing herself from her family, leaving the city, and disappearing off the face of the earth. All of this stems from a traumatic event she endured years earlier: she was sexually assaulted by four brothers, sons of the Lizárraga family, a powerful cattle-ranching family.
