Suzhal - The Vortex

Created by Pushkar and Gayatri, Suzhal - The Vortex S2 begins with the shocking murder of senior activist lawyer CHELLAPPA, who defended NANDINI. SAKKARAI is called in to take over the investigation and help the family. Set against the backdrop of the massive Ashtakaali Festival in the small town of Kaalipattinam, the case unravels acts in the past that cast long shadows on the present.

   Nandini is on trial for Guna's murder, defended by respected lawyer Chellappa, a father figure to Sakkarai. Chellappa invites Sakkarai to the Ashtakaali festival but is soon found dead in a locked cottage with a missing gun. Sakkarai becomes the investigating officer, creating tension with Inspector Moorthy. In the locked room murder, Sakkarai finds a hidden shocker!

Dhamu steps up in a time of need, making an immense personal sacrifice.
