   LUN CHUN MAN is very enthusiastic at public welfare. He always helps the villagers of the Village of King Chau to solve problems, getting along very well with them. Therefore, he is supported to be the headman of the village. However, MAN is quite stupid and always gets into trouble, making himself quite embarrassed. MAN and his mother, PAK SUM, live on selling incent sticks. Although he has already been thirty, he is still single since PAK SUM requires that her daughter-in-law must be able to play mahjong with her. MAN is very obedient and never rejects his mother. He always arranges to have some girls to play with his mother. However, his mother always dislikes them. AU PAK LAM knows a prostitute, AH LOK, by chance. They develop a pure relationship then. LAM determines to save enough money to let AH LOK free. Therefore, LOK decides to wait for LAM. YU LO MING works in a pawn shop diligently and responsibly……

   KONG PO is the secret follower of the Emperor. He is ordered to investigate the message of the Prince, CHIU, with his wife, YUET NGOR. However, they meet lots of difficulties on the way, but finally reach the Village of King Chau. MAN and LAM want to take revenge on FOOK. Once when they want to trick FOOK, they lock PO in a cart and send him far away by mistake. LAU WONG CHOI is originally the follower of PEl. After becoming a member of the family Chau, he becomes an officer of the military department and always suppresses the villagers. However, when he is at home, he is controlled by his wife, TUNG TUNG. Therefore, he opens a brothel secretly in order to relax himself. After NGOR and PO are separated, NGOR searches PO and reaches the military department. She meets CHOI there. However, CHOI wants to rape NGOR. However, in the fight, CHOI hurts NGOR's head, making her lose her memory. CHOI thus sends NGOR to the brothel……

3. E3. Episode 3

   LAI WAH is originally the neighbor of MAN. Since WAH is very clever, PAK SUM likes her very much and always tries to let MAN marry WAH. FOOK wants to take revenge on MAN and sends people to cheat MAN's money. It is lucky that WAH helps MAN to get back the money and punishes FOOK. Since they have separated for a long time, MAN is quite attracted by WAH's pleasant character and gradually loves her. On the other hand, WAH is also attracted by MAN's honest behaviour. New Year is coming. Every prostitute is busy in preparing programmes for the festival. However, they discover that NGOR has special power and determine to let NGOR perform a major programme. Finding that MAN cannot get the chance to express love towards WAH, PAK SUM is very anxious. She finally orders PAK LAM to use hypnotism to let them communicate with one another. FOOK sends his followers to collect money from the shops. In view of this, WAH wants to stop them……

   In the New Year Parade, MAN is chosen to be the God of Wealth. FOOK sends followers to make everyone vomit by using poison and blame MAN. In order to save MAN, PAK SUM asks her friends to join the parade so as to stop FOOK from doing that. It is lucky that the parade can be held successfully. FOOK then asks NGOR to use her special power to hurt MAN. However, NGOR fails but hurts FOOK. On the first day of the Chinese New Year, PAK SUM takes the chance to urge MAN to marry WAH. With the encouragement of his mother, MAN really asks WAH to marry him. However, WAH does not believe MAN and does not promise the marriage. FOOK and CHOI can do every illegal thing because they always bribe FAI and let him open brothels and gambling dens secretly. In fact, FAI is the follower of the Prince of TAK. Superficially, he obeys TAK but actually he only treats him as a puppet……

5. E5. Episode 5

   TAK is taught to be bad by FAI since his childhood. He only knows how to play and eat. Sometimes, he is tired of living because he has to seek permission from FAI for everything he wants to do. FAI persuades TAK to kill the Prince of CHIU in order to get the throne. However, TAK is always afraid that this would be discovered and is very unhappy all the time. FAI always comforts him. WAH tries to find her brother and sister-in-law everywhere. She meets TAK by chance. TAK is attracted by her beauty and thinks that it must be arranged by FAI. Therefore, TAK tries to rape WAH but is hit by WAH instead. After TAK knows the truth, he is still interested in her. Therefore, he asks his followers to catch WAH so as to give him the chance to pursue WAH. WAH does not like TAK because she loves MAN and she dislikes TAK's behaviour. This makes TAK very disappointed and decides to force WAH to obey him.

6. E6. Episode 6

   Feb 18, 1991 · 46m

   Finding that WAH is being locked up, MAN thinks that this is supported by PEI. Therefore, he leads the villagers to parade in the village to protest against PEI. At that time, PEI returns to the village and becomes the head of the bad guys. In fact, PEI is ordered by the emperor to return to the village to investigate the disappearance of CHIU and PO. He pretends to be mad. However, he knows that his sons-in-law, FOOK and CHOI, are very wicked. They not only destroy his reputation, but also want to get his wealth and co-operate with FAI to exploit the villagers. At first, FOOK and CHOI also suspect PEI. However, testing him for several times, they find that he is really old and thus neglect him. PEI dislikes FOOK and CHOI's behaviour. He secretly steals money from the gambling dens to help the poor, using the name of 'VAN CHE TO'. He then becomes the admirer of the villagers but the enemy of the bad people……
