1. E1. Episode 1

   During YU MEI KWAN's 71-years-old birthday, YANG NING KUNG gave her a 'Dragon Head Stick' and encouraged her to practise the 'Yang's Family Stick Stance. Her sons and daughters-in-law congratulated on KWAN's birthday. Meanwhile, the YANG's four men were summoned to help the villagers. They by chance knew that the bandit, TSANG GUN HUAN, had hidden himself in the pigsty. In order to keep the secret, HUAN killed them. The celebration then became a funeral. For the next three years, the YANG's women lead by KWAN are obliged to live in honest poverty. They are in mourning. They live independently and isolate themselves in the ancestral home. YING is the only one who does all housework. Others like Mui only know how to enjoy life. Thus, YING is respected by the whole family. LING tidies her old photo albums. The photo excites her feeling. She cries loud in LIN's arm. The mourning period is over. YANG WAI sells the YANG's main house……

2. E2. Episode 2

   YING fights against KI. KI is defeated. They then go to the police station. TAl BO even accuses KI that he wants to frame her up. YING is more dissatisfied with KI. Conflict again arises between the two. KI is very diligent and serious. He performs well in the police station. His superior has recommended him to apply for the post of inspector. However, KI does not follow the traditional way in handling things. Thus, his superior worries a lot for him. The YANG's family is very angry with HEI's evil deed. They question him with anger. KWAN knows HEI well and thinks that he must have a good excuse. She persuades the YANG's ladies to be calm and allow him to explain. The YANG's ladies meet KAM SAl MAN in TAl LONG's restaurant. They hear that he hopes his father died in his early age so that he can succeed to be the leader of the village. The triad supports him. He collects money from the weak and also has some illegal secret dealing……

3. E3. Episode 3

   HEI has ruined his future. He regrets for what he has done. He moves into the YANG's family and works for them. Financial crisis arises in the YANG's family. The YANG's ladies cannot support their own living. KWAN decides to keep a pig farm. However, they are inexperience in keeping pigs which makes a lot of fun. MAN leads the villagers to place some rubbish in front of the YANG's house. LING is very angry and complains to the police station. She by chance meets the sergeant, KIN FAI. She finds that FAI is similar to her ex-husband. She cannot help to germinate special feeling on him. FAI will retire very soon. Thus, he wants to have peace and keeps himself safe. He fears the strength of the RAM village. He cannot do what he wants. He is also not familiar with their customs and environment. The villagers always complain him. LING is very dissatisfied with him and the two become enemies. There is a bomb in the YANG's pig farm……

4. E4. Episode 4

   KI gets into disputes with the YANG's family when he is catching the thieves. KI and YING misunderstand each other more. LONG sympathizes the YANG's family. He helps the YANG family indirectly through HEI. YING receives a letter from the police and asks her to provide them more information. She is happy to do that. When the inspector asks her about the death of the four YANG's male, she tells him the truth angrily. YING by chance knows that she has applied for the post of a policewoman. She is in a dilemma. Later, she finds that she can succeed his ex-husband's wish and receive a high income. With their encouragement, she agrees to join the police force. MUI is aware of her detective talent; she also joins the police force secretly. YING and MUI are having a strict training. MUI is lazy at home. Thus, it is difficult for her to tolerate.

5. E5. Episode 5

   When YING is living in the police school, the YANG's family is like a mess. It is because YING is the only one to do the housework. In order not to affect YING's mood, KWAN conceals the truth from YING. MUI despises the school regulation. She always breaks the rules. Fortunately, YING remedies her fault. KAI FAT discovers the case and scolds YING. YING explains. FAT appreciates her. YING wants to give up the career in police and returns home to do the housework. However, KWAN rejects because she wants to restore the reputation of YANG's family. Therefore, she urges YING to continue the training. YING wants to give up her police training and backs to the YANG's family doing the housework. KWAN forces YING to continue the training as the priority is to restore the YANG's family. KA MING wants to write an essay and backs to Hong Kong to collect more information. He interviews the oldest man in the village……

6. E6. Episode 6

   May 24, 1993 · 48m

   YING does not want to follow MUI's step. She minds her own duty and keeps good discipline. She does not want to make her family feel disappointed. However, she does not have a sense of direction and always makes mistakes during training. MING has an interview with KWAN. KWAN receives favours as with fear. She pretends to be austere and solemn. There is a lot of fun during the interview. LING does not know how to play mahjong but she is lucky and wins money. She then addicts herself to mahjong playing. One night, a swindler cheats her money. FAI witnesses the case. He even jeers at her. HING has a trip. KI has known that HING's airline has a flight accident. He thinks that HING is on that flight. He is very upset. In fact, HING has already transferred to another airline. She blames KI who does not concern about her all along. KWAN knows that they have owned LONG money. She then assigns LIN to work in LING's food shop……
