As usual, MUI wakes up early in the morning, does the cleansing whilst watching an old film on TV starred by herself and her old partner SINN. She is so indulged in the film that not even the cry of her grand-child can disturb her. When she sees SINN on the screen, a trace of despise is shown on her face. On the other hand, SINN is also watching the screen at the corner of a small food shop, sipping her congee with the look of an old lady. In the control room of a TV station, producers are discussing a new drama they are going to put on and find it difficult to fill two elderly characters. Suddenly, they spot MUI and SINN on the screen. BUBBLE says he has the confidence to persuade SINN because she is his aunt.

BUBBLE contacts MUI and SINN bit both decline his offer. The producers make out the scripts of the drama and want BUBBLE to try again. They promise BUBBLE a promotion if he manages to succeed. Whilst playing mahjong with her friends, MUI watches another old film of hers and discloses that the TV station makes her an offer. All agreed that it will be of great fun and she should accept. BUBBLE drops in and leave the scripts with MUI, asks her to reconsider the offer. On the other hand, BUBBLE persuades SINN to accept the offer by saying that MUI will also be showing up. SINN is unhappy and BUBBLE realizes that something must have happened between them.

Forty years ago, MUI and SINN were both new blood of a film production company. At first, they were partners in acting and good friends in private. In a party, SINN met GUN, a carefree guy who fools around with girls. But SINN was attracted by his manner. Accidentally, their getting together drew some publicity and SINN's boss was very displeased with it. During a rehearsal, GUN came along to visit SINN and met MUI. He was attracted by MUI's beauty and charm.

SINN was embarrassed in having done some modeling in swimming suit. But her boss was amazed and thought that she could be shaped sex image as an attraction for his films. Accidentally, the girls met GUN again in a department store and saw a woman slapped him on the face. MUI warned SINN to be careful with such a man but SINN found herself in love with him.

MUI was lucky to have a full box-office taking for her new film and became the centre of attractions. In contrast, SINN,'.s sexy image was a flop. She was so upset and regret for having done such a foolish thing. From then on, SINN was only acting as supporting character and she became jealous of MUI. By trial and error, SINN put on male character and was well-accepted by viewers. Gradually, she was as famous as MUI. But their relationship got worse. For shooting a new film in Macau, MUI met GUN again.

Aiming to test GUN's sincerity, MUI invited him to accompany her on her trip back to Hong Kong. GUN accepted and inevitably, they developed some friendship. MUI and SINN bought houses and were moving out of the quarters. On her way back to collect her personal belongings, SINN was annoyed in seeing GUN and MUI together. Soon GUN and MUI fell in love with each other. During the funeral ceremony of their film boss, SINN met GUN again and was surprised to find out MUI had infect took GUN away in an unmanly way. She determined to revenge.
