   The fire of Shek Kip Mei in 1950's was in -fact caused by the careless "land god" of the region. He was then sent back to the heaven. The "land god" does not know that the heaven has been modernized after the three hundred years of his duty on land. Now the "land God" has been renamed as the "spirit". As he has made a serious mistake, after trial, he is sentenced to the punishment of "evaporation". On the other hand, the Spirit Supervisor makes a mistake when he tries to arrangement jobs to nearly graduated spirits. As he does not want to be punished, he saves the one being punished and sends him to Tai Lung Cheung Hotel. Now the spirit becomes a female one and she has no idea about her duty. On her way to the hotel, she comes across LAU MING SING who is a stunt man for? a movie. She is impressed by SING. Tai Lung is an old hotel without good repair and is decaying.… ...

   SING is frightened by TUNG who appears so suddenly before his eyes. He jumps down Tram the second floor and falls onto LUK CHI CHUEN who is the main character of the movie. Both of them Taint. The hotel is regarded as a haunted one and the people of the movie company want to run away. PING, WONG, LING and FAT are afraid that they will lose the chance of making money. They question the old spirit but the old spirit shirks blame onto TUNG. TUNG and PING come to a compromise and they create a mysterious atmosphere so as to .arrive at a compromise with the boss of the company - LUI. CHUEN pretends to be sick and runs away. LUI worries and with no other choice, he employs SING to act as CHUEN. SING is excited as he has the chance to act with the one whom he admires. That is KA YING.… ...

3. E3. Episode 3

   TUNG is frightened by the fire scene on television. She rushes in the hotel. PING and the old spirit are happy as they have got TUNG's photo. As TUNG finds her visible, she tip-toes to the oven. The others are able to see her but they make no sound as they think that she is a ghost. TUNG has to take PING and the old spirit's terms as her photo is in their hands. They want to make TUNG invisible but in vain. Meanwhile the police force arrive to find illegal immigrants. PING pushes TUNG into SING's room to take refuge. SING takes TUNG as YING. As he does not want to have any scandal, he hides her up. PING claims that TUNG is an illegal immigrant. The others do not want to get into any trouble, so they refuse to adopt her. When they see her in beautiful clothes, they are impressed and change their mind. They even try to flatter her. TUNG is frightened by fire and falls down a slope.… ...

4. E4. Episode 4

   Being affected by alcohol, YING kisses SING whom she regards as CHUEN. TUNG is shy to see the intimacy between them. By mistake, she turns the light on and wakes them up. They are embarrassed. KAU goes to see the progress of the making of the movie. LUI is very nervous. KAU scolds the others but when he sees PING, he changes his attitude. PING tries to stay away from KAU but at last they meet. In the past, KAU admired PING but he feels ashamed as he has not kissed her hand. PING promises him for SING. SING has his confident as he has won Tame and appreciation. He begs YING's love and YING is touched by him. When their love has a chance to germinate, CHUEN appears again. The old spirit ignores TUNG who seeks advice Tram him as he has TUNG's photo. CHUEN tricks YING, making her trust him and turn back to back. After that he entangles KAU and gets the role of main character again.… ...

5. E5. Episode 5

   SING is ashamed as he knows that his performance relies so much on TUNG's assistance. PING forces the old spirit to find SING. The duty is levied on TUNG's shoulder. TUNG learns from Piggy Spirit about SING's situation. She goes to scold him and this wakes him up. SING goes to question PING and asks her to give him TUNG's photo. When he is getting it, it is blown away. CHUEN gets the photo and is attracted by TUNG. Therefore he takes the chance to trick her. TUNG gets invisible and is seen by CHUEN. When CHUEN realises that TUNG is more frightened than him, he asks +or the reason. At last he decides to threaten TUNG so that he can get his fame back. CHUEN is able to finish many difficult tasks and is proud. SING is humiliated by him. CHUEN tells YING that KAU admires her. YING feels being humiliated and decides to leave CHUEN. The life insurance broker TIN CHUNG TAI is excited and he has compiled CHUEN's policies.… ...

6. E6. Episode 6

   The others are impressed by SING's speech. TUNG wants to help SING but SING refuses her for his own dignity. At last SING is able to make the task. All the others are happy. The old spirit wants to report TUNG's misbehaviour to the heaven but all photos are destroyed. TUNG is still worried and the old spirit tricks her that the only solution is to run away. TUNG says goodbye to all the people in the hotel and the old spirit is excited to see his plan succeed. The others are aware and when they know what has happened, they punish the old spirit. TUNG meets Piggy Spirit who spoils the old spirit's trick. TAI brings CHING to celebrate in the hotel but his idea is not appreciated. The others hold a farewell party Tor the old spirit and TAI sees him get invisible. He is frightened and Taints. TUNG incidentally gets the "Spirit's Manual" and gets an idea to save the old spirit.… ...
