   The famous burglar, LUNG, follows his master, FU to earn a living by burglary in order to foster his sister, FUNG. However, LUNG is too kind and always gives up his stealing plan. He thus makes FU in great debt. LUNG makes use an assumed name, CHUNG, to communicate with a pen pal, DAN. LUNG always tells his hearty word to DAN through his letter. FUNG decides to give up her plan of studying abroad for LUNG’s sake. LUNG opposes her decision when he learnt about it. LUNG promises FU to complete a difficult task for FUNG’s sake. RICK likes DAN. However, DAN is sick of his evil deeds and refuses him. RICK tempts a newly joined detective, FANG, to join him but is in vain. RICK then treats him badly. FANG suffers terribly. DAN invites LUNG to attend a dressing party. However, DAN cannot see LUNG’s real face. LUNG’s difficult task is to break into RICK’s house.… ...

   RICK dies. FANG and other cops arrive and intend to arrest the famous burglar. LUNG makes use of RICK’s identity to drive all away and hide RICK’s dead body into the fridge. LUNG continues his mission. FANG does not give up to search for RICK. FANG makes LUNG faint when LUNG gives up to run away in lest that they will eventually find him. LUNG is sent to the hospital. The cops attack FANG as his deed has incurred them lost. LUNG does not return lately. FUNG is kidnapped when the debt collector bothered FU. LUNG loses his memory. Detective, TSUI DAM FOO, forces DAN to help RICK. DAN’s younger brother, TUNG, arrives and immediately seeks help from the gangster, TZE, with nickname the Purple Grape. LUNG is forced to stay with DAN in one chamber. DAN beats LUNG terribly so as to help him recover his memory. TZE leads a group of people to save DAN. LUNG sets DAN free and apologizes to everybody on behalf of RICK’s identity.… ...

   LUNG sends FUNG to the hospital. FANG is moved by LUNG who risked his life to save others. FANG is curious about FUNG and FU. He questions LUNG. FU eventually understands how LUNG became RICK. FU suggests LUNG to make use of RICK’s identity to make money. FUNG discloses a girl, KI, has committed shoplifting. He insists her to compensate and apologize. KI eventually surrenders and she is very interested in FANG. FANG’s father, KUNG, owns a pawnshop. He always wants FANG to give up being a cop but is in vain. LUNG decides to replace RICK. He takes out his diary to check who has owned RICK. FUNG studies abroad. FU advises LUNG to destroy his belonging. FU knew that DAN hates RICK deeply, he advises LUNG to give up DAN. LUNG goes to the pier to welcome RICK’s father, SAN and his grandmother, HEUNG. HEUNG witnesses LUNG who is a coward when the rascals are kidnapping him. She seizes his pistol and points at him.… ...

   HEUNG points at LUNG so as to help him to recover his memory. TUNG imitates LUNG kneeling down on the floor to apologize. HEUNG slaps TUNG. In order to make LUNG win HEUNG’s favour, FU shows LUNG some movie so as to help LUNG develop the nature for a professional detective. However, FU does not succeed. LUNG investigates an assault case regarding a rich merchant. LUNG and FANG discover the same suspicious points separately. They even join force to arrest the suspect. LUNG is not used to RICK’s way of living. He finds HEUNG and SAN very strange. TUNG volunteers to join TZE’s gang. However, TZE drives TUNG away as she does not want to confront against LUNG. DAN scolds TUNG when she learnt that he intends to join the triad gang. DAN risks to go to Kolwoon City to see LUNG. In order to make DAN giving up, he leaves a farewell letter. DAN makes use of a radio programme to invite LUNG to meet her. DAN finds LUNG’s trace.… ...

   LUNG orders FANG to investigate the murder case. In order to get rid of KI, FANG asks KI to investigate who is the murderer. A rich merchant from South East Asia, NG, is very eager to court DAN’s friend, DIN. DIN deliberately keeps away from him. Although LUNG and RICK are very different, DAN believes that LUNG is pretending to be a good guy to win her favour. DAN makes bitter dumpling since CHUNG was reluctant to see her. LUNG asks FU to watch over TUNG. Unexpectedly, FU brings TUNG to the casino and incurs TUNG in great debt. DAN believes that it is LUNG’s trap to get her brother into trouble. She begs LUNG and RICK’s family to set him free. TUNG’s father, KOO, is suffered from tuberculosis. Meanwhile, TUNG decides to leave home and follows TZE. LUNG wipes the casino and strictly forbids his colleagues to share the bribed money. He even charges the casino boss committing bribery. The chief of the police station is mad at LUNG.… ...

   FU is hurt by electric shock in the toilet. His life is at stake. LUNG thinks that it was not an accident. FANG points out that the murderer is targeting LUNG. FU advises LUNG to make fast money and run away. KI lies that she is suffered from fatal disease. She cheats FANG to dance with her. She even kisses FANG. FANG is shocked. SAN has been coughed for a long time. However, he is too busy to work on his broadcasting task and refuses to see doctor. His broadcasting program is suspended due to his terrible cough during broadcasting. TZE promises to let TUNG join her gang. DIN does not want to see TUNG become a fugitive. She decides to see TZE. LUNG decides to negotiate with the gang leader and run away after making big money. DAN begs LUNG to save TUNG. LUNG struggles. TZE tells DIN his poor story in the past and claims that he will not act according to her sentiment forever. However, TZE is shocked when she saw TUNG’s jade pendant.… ...
