A Case of Misadventure

1. E1. Episode 1

   One day, FUEN buys some high quality of rice at a grocery; however, she has a bad experience instead. The owner intends to cheat his customer and sells the inferior rice with high price; yet, he mixes up the different quality of rice together. But his plan fails when he meets FUEN this time. FUEN is too smart to be cheated. FUEN’s fiance BILL is returning to Dai Lian. FUEN waits for him at the pier happily. The return of BILL brings another good news to FUEN because he proposes marrying FUEN immediately after their reunion. FUEN is blithe to welcome her wonderful life with her lover. On the wedding day, unfortunate thing happens. Government officials arrest BILL for murdering and he is send to Guangzhou for trail. FUEN has no alternatives but follows them to Guangzhou also. She hears about the reputation of KIT and tends to seek for his help and rescue BILL……

2. E2. Episode 2

   It is a screaming pain for the young married couple to depart so soon. BILL exclaims that his relationship with FUEN is so short; meanwhile, FUEN determines to fight justice for BILL. FUEN goes to the House of Chan in order to reckon the account with HEI. It is no surprise that HEI is left Guangzhou already. Despite the lost of money and her fiance, FUEN has another nightmare. She is probably too careless in signing the employment contract for working as a servant maid and fails to notice that the location of the job is in Hong Kong. On the other hand, HEI and SHIN flee to Hong Kong also. They embark the island light-heartedly; thus, bring them unexpected adventures in the future. Without knowledge of the western culture, a driver takes them to watch the exotic dance, which is a forbidden show at that time. Hence, HEI and SHIN is arrested by police officer, MOU LUNG……

3. E3. Episode 3

   In the confusion of escape, the ponytail of HEI is on fire. Though FUEN chops off his ponytail and saves him from danger; HEI swears that he will not forgive her for her hasty act. LUNG arrests FUEN and insists HEI to give her adjudication. In respect of the favour that HEI owes FUEN, HEI acquittal the charge on FUEN intelligently. Afterwards, FUEN commences her duty of her job and ironically, it is the house of HEI. Just when HEI prepares to have his favourable dish of fish, he sees FUEN and chokes by the food. He is so scared that FUEN will poison him for revenge. Meanwhile, SHIN takes the opportunity to urge HEI to study the work of KIT and his diary ‘Inside Stories’; on the other hand, helps FUEN to fight justice for BILL in the future. The expectation of SHIN and FUEN seems too high for HEI to achieve. HEI is still enjoying his playful life and reluctant to study hard……

4. E4. Episode 4

   Luckily, LUNG arrives and rescues HEI from danger. It is discovered that the man who send LIK to beat HEI is actually the successor of an oyster sauce factory named LAM HING. When HING realises HEI is an MBE, he puts the responsibility on LIK in order to get release. Nevertheless, HING visits HEI with oyster sauce as present and takes him to the brothel. On the other hand, the maid of HING, TAO pleads FUEN to rescue LIK from prison. After enjoying the entertainment arranged by HING, HEI comes back with skin allergy. He is so worried about catching the sexual transmission disease; at last, it is just a panic and he is recovered. Lack of moral, HING tends to rape TAO at home. Fortunately, LIK arrives in time and saves her. But owing to anger, LIK beats and hurts HING severely. LIK is put behind bars again……

5. E5. Episode 5

   HEI believes the case is obvious that LIK killed HING and eloped with TAO. But, FUEN thinks that the preliminary assumption of HEI has neglected many factors. Meanwhile, TAO and LIK hide themselves at the kitchen of house of HEI. They intend to seek for the assistance of FUEN again. However, LUNG discovers them; yet, LIK has no alternatives but threats YOYO with a knife. Under such circumstances, HEI promises to defence for them. TAO mentions that WAN and granny LAM offers her a condition in order to help LIK. Therefore, TAO agrees to marry HING as second wife in respect of saving LIK. Meanwhile, when LIK realises that TAO is going to marry; he escapes and returns. On the wedding night, LIK hits HING until he faints; but he swears that he has never killed him. HEI also agrees that there are uncertainties. Therefore, LUNG suggests HEI to examine the dead body of HING in order to find out more evidences. HEI is furious, of course……

6. E6. Episode 6

   Mar 25, 2002 · 45m

   All of them are taken to the police station. A police officer named uncle TAK, orders them to use alcohol and lime water to clean their bodies for antiseptic; whilst, FUEN is inspired by their act. On the other hand, FUEN also has a discovery on WAN. She finds out that WAN orders her staff to pour a bowl of oyster sauce into trash just because a child has fallen a cane ball into it by accident. Nevertheless, when WAN and granny LAM clean the body of HING’s son with alcohol, they are scare to discover the skin allergy of his body. An ordinary skin disease is coloured by the shadow of ghost. The haunt of HING’s spirit; yet, frightens them to confess the murder. At the moment, HEI and LUNG arrive. WAN and granny LAM admits that they have killed HING together. Also, granny LAM talks about the history of the oyster sauce factory and the reason for killing her son. TAO and LIK are acquitted and released……
