1. E1. Episode 1

   LAM LOK YEE teaches music at a primary school. One day on her way to work, she meets a man who feels seriously ill. She offers to send the man to the hospital and therefore fails to return home on time. Being so worried, her mother CHUN and her friend NIN go out to look for her. CHEUNG KA FAT sees a man bending over YEE and fears that she is going to be raped. YEE has found that the Putonghua supply teacher is FAT. CHUN blames her husband FAI for having neglected YEE, which has irked him a bit. CHUN remembers how YEE became blind when she was just a little girl. YEE finds that FAT is a manager of a food wholesaling company. FAT has applied for leave to take a break because he is not happy with his new boss, FUNG NAP YUN, who insists on cutting the staff. FAT goes to Peng Chau to chill out and YEE just shows him around……

2. E2. Episode 2

   May 7, 2002 · 46m

   FAT’s girlfriend CHING SZE MAN sees FAT and YEE together on the pier and gets so surprised. YEE hopes her leg injury can help patch up her parents’ relationship but she does not succeed. MAN asks FAT about his plan and suggests that he should not be too impetuous. FAI does not come home, which makes YEE very much worry. FAT advises YEE to act sick so as to get attention from her parents. CHUN sees YEE lying on the couch in the living room and feels so shocked. Meanwhile, NIN discloses that FAI is leaving Peng Chau. YEE blames NIN as she thinks he has not done his job well. FAT returns home with MAN. He knows his parents DUNG and FUNG are planning on moving to a bigger house and he therefore feels a bit troubled. MAN is going to dine with her godfather and invites FAT to go with her. Much to FAT’s surprise, MAN’s godfather is YUN. FAT and YUN have a ferocious verbal battle throughout the dinner……

3. E3. Episode 3

   May 8, 2002 · 46m

   YEE treats FAT to dinner, during which FAT meets SING, his friend and his colleague. FAT notices there is something wrong with SING. YUN needs SING to sell out of a pack of coffee that has been considered unsalable, within a week. This has vexed SING more than anything. FAT asks YUN to give SING one more month but is rejected. YEE knows the coffee problem has bothered FAT for a while. To help FAT out, she has thought of different ways of making coffee and has invited NIN to have a taste test. The result is however not at all encouraging. NIN’s words have given YEE some insight into how to improve the quality of the coffee. She even suggests providing a free trial offer of the coffee in local cafes and has got great feedback from the public. However, the packaging of the coffee is still a puzzling question to FAT. YEE’s words have given him some inspiration – he intends to relate the coffee to the twelve star signs……

4. E4. Episode 4

   May 9, 2002 · 46m

   YEE is going to have a barbecue for celebration. To express thanks to NIN and FAT, she has prepared lots of food for them. FAT goes to MAN’s home straight after he has got a call from her. He does not know that MAN has held a celebration party for him. NIN supposes FAT is not coming but YEE believes that he will show up soon. In the early morning, a large number of customers queue up for the stars coffee, so NIN has to turn to YEE for help. FAT advises YEE to set up a coffee shop of her own in town and YEE seems to have some interest in it. But later she learns that her parents are also planning on setting up a cafe selling the stars coffee. She therefore gets a bit confused about what to do. YEE’s cousin HA KWAI FAN goes back to Peng Chau with her boyfriend to chill out. FAN tells YEE about the recent changes of Lan Kwai Fong, which has obsessed YEE a bit. FAT buys YEE a bicycle and urges her to ride it……

5. E5. Episode 5

   May 10, 2002 · 45m

   YEE imagines flying above the urban centre. FAT’s attitude towards YUN has softened, which surprises SING a lot. YEE is so down when she finds that FAI has already paid the deposit on the shop. NIN do not take the chance to leave Peng Chau. YEE thinks he is too complacent. SING has got a commission illegally and YUN urges him to resign. FAT tries, but fails to intercede for SING. YUN has changed his mind and now decides to fire SING. SING is not entitled to get back his pension. He is thus so angry with FAT as he thinks FAT has not helped him much. FAT is of course outraged. A man called MR. TANG has tried the stars coffee and very much appreciates YEE’s talent. He invites YEE to join his cafe but is rejected. CHUN and FAI make a present of YEE’s bike to somebody, which infuriates YEE. Luckily she can get it back at last. NIN reveals to CHUN and FAI that YEE has been longing to leave for the town for better career development……

6. E6. Episode 6

   May 13, 2002 · 46m

   NIN escorts YEE to FAN’s home. He is not happy with FAN’s home design as it may pose danger to YEE. FAT and YEE, on the other hand, find it fine. YEE goes to TANG’s cafe to work. NIN and FAT are worried about her and thus accompany her to her place of work without letting her know. NIN works at a French bakery. He claims that he has ample experience in making bread. His boss asks him to make Tiramisu, which has really messed his head up. NIN’s boss does not like NIN’s Tiramisu and has given him loads of negative comments. NIN finds it very insulting and YEE tries to give him encouragement. The next day, NIN decides to consult KOK for some professional advice. FAT recommends SING to MAN and SING is finally offered a post by her company. But MAN does not seem to be very kind to SING, thus making SING a little unhappy. TANG thinks highly of YEE. Her colleagues, BILL and WAH, are therefore very jealous of her……
