YAN is determined to get admitted into the University. Her childhood friend HUK MAN helps her in the revision. YAN's sister HUNG is robbed in the staircases as she returns home. She is helped by d young man called CHUN SAI who is a friend of HOK MAN. CHAN mistaken CHUN SAI to be the bad guy and deals him a blow.

YAN always pours her heart to HOK MAN and meets the jealous eyes of . HOK MAN's girlfriend MEI YUK.

Under the encourage- ment of HOK MAN, she decides to find a job and work her way to success.

   CHUN SAI arranges YAN for an interview in a fashion company. The person- in-charge TAT-CHO is prejudiced against her. She does not get the job. However, she gets acquainted with another manager KEUNG SHUN LING, who finds her performance impressive. YAN gets acquainted with photographer HA JO YAM. HA, an aesthete and a romantic, falls for SHUN LING's melancholic beauty. YAN gets recommended by SHUN LING and finally secures a post in the fashion company.

   YAN regains confidence in her work. But her relation with her boyfriend HO MING grows worse. To her shock, HO MING has been dating her good friend KIT-CHONG. When KIT-CHONG gets pregnant, they are forced into marriage. YAN buys a gift for HOK MAN when she receives her salary. This arouses great jealousy in his girlfriend.

   YAN goes to JO JAM's studio and is tricked by him. She is furious. YAN attends the wedding of HO MING and KIT-CHONG. She is heart-broken. SHUN LING is sympathetic towards YAN's situation. She encourages her to concentrate on her work. HOK MAN decides to break with his girlfriend MEI YUK, who threatens to commit suicide.
