Grand Master Hung orders the Army to expel the refugees outside the Tokyo City. The refugees stand up to resist, giving rise to riots. The rioters plunder and kill, and Kao Chiu also joins in to fish in troubled waters. Trying to break off the refugees, Lu Ta is surrounded, but Lim Chung's timely help gets him out of the critical situation. The imperial troops eventually suppress the rebellion after suffering heavy casualties. Hung orders the execution of all the captured refugees. Chang Shui-sheng tries to persuade him but fails. He feels sad watching the massacre, while his daughter Pearl is mad with anger. Lim Chung, also dissatisfied with Hung's move, decides to study hard to win the imperial exam for a military title to cope with Grand Master Hung.… ...
