   YEUNG TAK-KEI is a commis 3 chef in a restaurant and a self-proclaimed super sleuth. One day, his lady boss Mrs. MA discovers that someone stole one thousand dollars from the cash register. Seeing that receptionist LING-LING is falsely accused of theft, TAK-KEI braves out to help prove her innocence. TAK-KEI asks LING-LING out but LING-LING rejects him. It turns out that LING-LING has an affair with the boss, Mr. MA, the video clip of which is later recorded by TAK-KEI. Mr. MA urges his employees to stay alert after learning that Miphelin reviewers will come to eat in his restaurant. MAK SEI arrives at the restaurant and wants to meet the head chef. However, the head chef is otherwise occupied, leaving the manager no other choice but to tell TAK-KEI to handle the situation. CHU SAU-NA goes to the kitchen to look around. Meanwhile, a private investigator disguises as a Miphelin reviewer to probe into Mr. MA's scandal and blackmail case.… ...

   TAK-KEI teams up with KA-KA to assist a well-known noodles shop, and KA-KA is impressed by his righteousness. TAK-KEI introduces KA-KA to SAU-NA, who instead raises the price sky-high after learning that the owner of the flour factory is a gang member. Risking his own life to investigate the case, TAK-KEI plants a tracking device in the suspect's clothes and finally sees the suspect enter a karaoke club together with the owner of the flour factory. However, the mission ends in failure. TAK-KEI runs into MAK SEI at the Ching Hoi Noodles Shop. Coincidentally, both of them notice that there is something wrong with the noodles, so they go to the factory together with KA-KA to probe into the matter. With his culinary whiz, MAK SEI exposes the company's tainted food scandal, resulting in the company being closed down, which eventually protects the noodles shop from gang harassment.… ...

   In order to find MAK SEI, they go to a village where they see MAK TONG, aka Uncle TONG. Following a clue, they arrive at a second-hand shop to invite MAK SEI to join their detective agency. Ironically, they are instead being pranked. Though KA-KA has gone through the effort to find the eggs requested by MAK SEI, MEI SEI emphasizes that he is not going to join them unless he eats the egg puffs made by Brother HONG in person. Eventually, they manage to fulfill MAK SEI's wish and make him feel the sentimental value that the food holds. Therefore, MAK SEI agrees to join the agency. SAU-NA tells TAK-KEI to stay up all night to look after MAK SEI, which almost leads to catastrophic consequences. With MAK SEI's joining, SAU-NA is hired to investigate an injury on duty case, alleging SILLY CHIU is involved in a fraud. TAK-KEI is harassed while monitoring the suspect, and he is almost run over by a car.… ...

4. E4. Episode 4

   After TAK-KEI and MAK SEI discover that SILLY CHIU wants to go to an exotic club, TAK-KEI refuses to tail after him anymore but MAK SEI forces him to continue. Suddenly, someone wreaks havoc in the second-hand shop, making Mrs SHUM feel very frightened; whereas OI-KIU also learns that her father SHUM WING once again owes a lot of money. TAK-KEI and MAK SEI follow OI-KIU, thinking she is linked to the injury on duty case. They end up being taken back to the police station for questioning. TAK-KEI claims that he is a private investigator but the police do not believe him; whereas MAK SEI wants to meet someone called CHICKEN WAH. In a washroom, MAK SEI bumps into KWOK-WAH who instantly runs away to the rooftop terrace. OI-KIU tails after her mother only to find out that she goes to meet up with SHUM WING. On the other hand, SILLY CHIU asks SHUM WING whether he owes someone a lot of money, adding that he can help him solve the problem.… ...

5. E5. Episode 5

   To find SILLY CHIU's weakness, SAU-NA and KA-KA go to work in a bar, seeking an opportunity to get close to him. SILLY CHIU shows no interest in SAU-NA as he finds her too old, instead he actively makes small talk with KA-KA. KA-KA then goes to SILLY CHIU's home and successfully plants a spy cam there. SAU-NA and the others track SILLY CHIU and SHUM WING to an industrial building, where they surprisingly run into OI-KIU. After they solve the case, SAU-NA thinks OI-KIU is very special because she put righteousness above her own family. Upon their return to the agency, SAU-NA announces to them that she has officially invited OI-KIU to join them. Out of the blue, SIU-LIN bursts in to look for KO YAN. At first, all of them think she and KO YAN have some relationship issues. It's not until later that they come to realise that SIU-LIN is actually their client.… ...

6. E6. Episode 6

   MAK SEI and TAK-KEI secretly tail after the female employee in hopes of gathering evidence of her affair with SAI-KAN. SAI-KAN takes SIU-LIN to try on wedding gowns and he even invites KEIRA to help them. TAK-KEI and the others feel very suspicious of him. TAK-KEI and KA-KA take a baking class, and their instructor is CHOW CHING. During the class, KA-KA appears to be preoccupied. When CHOW CHING leaves, MAK SEI notices that KWOK-WAH keeps following her. KA-KA tells TAK-KEI that a memory flashed before her eyes, so she hopes that TAK-KEI can help her investigate her past. TAK-KEI and MAK SEI continue to follow SAI-KAN and eventually arrive at a private club, following which MAK SEI tells TAK-KEI to finish the job within eight minutes, otherwise, he will be in danger. Suddenly, KWOK-WAH asks MAK SEI for help because he wants to help CHOW CHING bring back the original flavor of the cake, urging MAK SEI to give them a hand.… ...
